Untimely death of Dr Obadiah Mailafia

PSJUK is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Obadiah Mailafia on the 19th September 2021. We keep His family and loved ones in our prayers at this time. Dr Mailafia was a friend to PSJ. We were honoured to have Dr Mailafia speak at PSJUk’s first annual conference in 2019. He was a keynote speaker at the inaugural event that launched and introduced PSJUK to the UK audience. Dr Mailafia helped us to understand the obligation we have as citizens of the world to actively seek peace and social justice, stating⁩, ‘If I saw a lorry driving down the road that will kill people, it is my moral duty to put blocks on his path’.
PSJUK will continue to work to block the vehicles driving insecurity and disregard for human rights in Nigeria.
